You're blind, my love,
You cannot see, what it is you do to me.
I need you my love,
But do you need me?
I feel as though you'd prefer to be free.
You're blind my love,
Though not in your mind.
Your friends are the ones that you'd stand behind.
I need you my love,
Please don't be unkind.
We're in this together, may I remind.
You're blind my love,
But I know you're trying.
And that's what leaves me forever crying.
I need you my love,
Please no more lying.
Little white lies I'll no longer be buying.
Forever my love,
Will be forever pending.
I want the happy but never the ending.
Do you?
You cannot see, what it is you do to me.
I need you my love,
But do you need me?
I feel as though you'd prefer to be free.

Forever my love,
Will be forever pending.
I want the happy but never the ending.
Do you?

The Dream of You
What do I do
when I no longer know
what you see when you look at me,
is there something lost
far away behind your eyes,
have I become miniscule?
Where do I go
when I can no longer
bear to write beautiful sonnets for you
because each thought of love
is born with a measure of pain?
What is there left
when I walk around the edge
and feel my balance start to waver
yet I do not know if I will fall into you
or on the other side of the abyss?
How can I live
when my world stops making sense
as I start to feel you crumble from
beneath my fingertips
this ground I walk becoming
so unsteady?

I had a Dream
I had a dream.
We were hand in hand,
Both with each other in mind,
You were slowly taking possession of my heart,
Taking over my brain.
I was paralyzed with you on my mind.
Stuck in a world revolving around you.
You were getting too big for my heart,
For my brain.
I felt like I was going to explode.
I was suffocating;
This was too much;
I had to get out.
And then,
Everything stopped;
Literally.
I woke up;
I had a dream.
